In 1990 Eileen Boxer launched BoxerDesign, specializing in graphics and book design, primarily, although not exclusively, for cultural institutions.

BoxerDesign has received several design awards. In addition, the conceptual announcements for Ubu Gallery has received many citations, including an exhibition in 1998 at the Musée d’Elysée in Lausanne, two editorials in New York Magazine. Design for Response [1999] by Leslie Sherr and Touch Graphics [2001] by Ferdinand Lewis, both include chapters dedicated to BoxerDesign.

Throughout these years and to the present, I have kept a studio practice, exploring a wide range of media, from paint, ceramics, bookarts, photography and collage. Report US, a multi-faceted installation work on gun violence, received the 2016 Yoko Ono Lennon Courage Award.
